Rheinsberg, not only familiar to writers, in the district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin, once again served as an idyllic backdrop for Germany's largest SwimRun. On June 22, 2025, nearly 600 endurance athletes streamed into the town on Lake Grienericksee, also to participate in the SwimRun World Championships held as part of this year's SwimRun Rheinsberg.

Celia Jentzsch, recently crowned world champion in the sprint format of the My SwimRun World Champions at the Costa Azahar, joined the SCC EVENTS preparation course for the SwimRun Rheinsberg at Berlin’s Schlachtensee. Under the guidance of SwimRun veteran Michael Gerlach, she not only trained with the participants but also answered many questions about this rapidly growing sport.
