NOTE: Schedule and course are subject to change. The race will take place regardless of the weather, unless there is a weather warning from the German Weather Service.

Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In the gym of the Seehotel Rheinsberg - Donnersmarckweg 1, 16831 Rheinsberg

How?

  • With your start card and a photo ID
  • We ask all participants who have registered as a team to collect their race kits together

Start and Finish Area

The start and finish area of the SwimRun Rheinsberg is located near the Seehotel Rheinsberg. The exception is the SuperSprint, which starts in Warenthin (ferry from Rheinsberg at 10:45 am)

The courses lead in varying proportions along beautiful natural paths and through refreshing lakes.

About the Courses

Arrival

Car

From Berlin: via the A111 and B96 / A24 to Rheinsberg. Distance between 75 km and 90 km. A limited parking area is available in the Norma parking lot opposite the Seehotel.

Please note that parking and stopping is prohibited in Kurt-Tucholsky-Str. during the entire duration of the event.

By public transportation

Travel by train to Rheinsberg station. It is a 15-minute walk from the station to the hotel (start/finish area).

Competition briefing

There will be a mandatory race briefing for each competition so that everyone will compete in the race safely and well informed. Please keep that in mind for your journey.

Where: at Yachthafen Rheinsberg.

When:

  • 10:30 a.m. for SuperSprint
  • 11:05 a.m. for Half SwimRun
  • 11:30 a.m. for Sprint

Clothing

Neoprene Suit

You can wear a wetsuit during the competition regardless of the temperature. You can find out about the current water temperature and quality here: Brandenburg bathing spots

Bathing cap

Wearing the bathing cap is mandatory on all swimming routes without exception.

The cap has your start number on it and will be given to you at the race material pick-up.

There are two different types of swimming caps: one with a black stripe and one without. You will be given a swimming cap with a black stripe if you did not consent to facial recognition by the Sportografs when you registered. In this case, you will not be able to purchase photos of yourself after the race.

Shoes

For your safety, wearing shoes on the course is mandatory.

Timekeeping

Timekeeping is done with a plastic transponder. Please return the transponder after your race*.

In exchange for the transponder, you will receive a pasta voucher after the race, which you can redeem on site.

*No time will be tracked at Youth and Super Sprint disciplines.

Time limit & control points

There will be checkpoints along the route. If you do not manage to reach these checkpoints in the given time, we will unfortunately have to take you out of the race. You will be taken directly back to the start / finish area with a bus shuttle.

Checkpoints for Half SwimRun:

  • at 10.6 km until 1:50 pm
  • at 17 km until 3:05 pm

Checkpoint for Family Fun SwimRun and Youth SwimRun:

  • 1st round until 10:20 am

Latest time to finish:

4:15 p.m.

Teams

Participants in a team may not be more than 10 meters apart during the entire race. Otherwise we will have to disqualify the team.

Ranking

Teams are only counted in the team ranking and do not appear in the individual ranking. The time of the second finisher is decisive.

Supply

On course

Refreshment points with water and fruit are set up on all routes.

Please note: no cups will be provided by us, the organizer, at the refreshment points.

After the finish

After the finish line you will be welcomed with water, fruits and ERDINGER non-alcoholic beer. A particular highlight are the sweet, locally sourced strawberries.

Medical care

The entire route is monitored and medically supervised by the SCC EVENTS - Medical Team as well as an emergency service organization. The deployed medical staff is entitled and obliged to remove participants with signs of injury and/or overexertion from the race.

All persons who decide to participate in our events are advised to undergo a health check at least once a year.

Changing & showers

Changing facilities are available on the day of the event. After your race you can use the showers at the Seehotel Rheinsberg.

Medals, certificates and results

All finishers receive a well-deserved medal after crossing the finish line.

Change of discipline, Cancellation and Transfer

Change of discipline

Changes to another disciplin are possible as long as the participation limit has not been reached. We will charge a processing fee of 5 € plus the difference to the current valid price level.

Please contact us with your request to change the discipline via our contact form.

Exchange

Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer your race entry to another person or another year. Your race entry is personalized and related to the event.

You will find detailed information on withdrawal and exchange in our conditions of participation.

Withdrawal

Due to the logistical and organisational complexity of the event, we cannot refund the participation fee if you are unable to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

Insurance
