Unlike the Swim&Run or the Aquathlon, in this race there is a constant change between running and swimming passages. Since there are no changes of gear during the race, you have to swim in your running shoes and run in your swimming clothing. And that is easier than it sounds.
We recommend wearing a light running or trail shoe, and -- depending upon the weather and your personal preferences -- SwimRun-suitable clothing, such as a swimsuit, triathlon, SwimRun or neoprene suit. Another good alternative for newcomers is tight-fitting functional running gear.
Participants are allowed to use floatation devices, such as paddles, pull buoys, tow lines or swim boards
